MARQUETTE — The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a two-vehicle personal injury crash that occurred in the east lane on U.S. 41 in front of Red Lobster in Marquette Township at 11:55 a.m. Friday.

Marilyn Klahn, 85, of Marquette, driving a 2013 Subaru Forester, pulled out onto U.S. 41 and crashed into the driver’s side of Ann Alanen, 21, of Ishpeming, who was driving a 1999 Toyota Corolla.

UP Health System-Marquette was summoned to the scene, but all parties refused medical attention. Klahn was cited for failure to yield.

Assisting at the scene were Michigan State Police-Negaunee Post and Marquette Township Fire/Rescue.
