No injuries in Glasses Curve crash
MARQUETTE — A 21-year-old Marquette resident was uninjured after he lost control of his vehicle Wednesday morning on M-553 in Sands Township.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office reports Payton Lebombard around 8 a.m. Wednesday lost control of the 2005 Buick on icy roads while heading south on M-553 in the area known as Glasses Curve.
Lebombard’s vehicle slid into a damaged guard rail and came to rest on top of the rail, police said. A wrecker service was used to free the vehicle and no citations were issued, according to the sheriff’s office press release.
