Suspect arrested after assault, theft in Marquette

MARQUETTE — At approximately 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Marquette Police Department officers responded to an assault on the sidewalk in front of the Warming Center on the 400 block of West Washington Street in Marquette. Investigation into the incident found that 47-year-old David Rodda Jr. committed an unprovoked assault of a 28-year-old subject who was on the sidewalk.
