Ishpeming Elks Lodge to host free Community Thanksgiving Dinner

ISHPEMING -- The Ishpeming Elks Lodge will be hosting its annual free Community Thanksgiving Dinner from noon to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26.
Reservations are required for dine-in, takeout and delivery, and can be made by calling 906-451-4951. The lodge is asking that reservations be made by 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23.
"This event is especially important this year because many people in our community are feeling the weight of uncertainty, rising costs, and ongoing stress," said event organizer Dawn Lambert. "For some, the festive season can highlight feelings of isolation or loss rather than joy. Creating a moment of togetherness right now offers reassurance that no one is alone and that the community truly cares."
Free delivery is offered across Marquette County, and these free meals are open to everyone.
