MARQUETTE -- Families are invited to celebrate the changing seasons with an afternoon of stories, nature and hands-on activities at A Fall Afternoon of Stories and Nature at 2 p.m. on Sunday at MooseWood Nature Center on Presque Isle Park.
The event will feature Kelsey E. Gross, author of "Fall: A Seasons Story," who will share a reading of her book with children and families. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the outdoors through family-friendly activities, a StoryWalk and nature exploration.
Designed with young readers and their families in mind, the event offers a chance to experience a story beyond the pages of a book while enjoying the sights and sounds of fall in the Upper Peninsula.
Books will be available for purchase from Snowbound Books during the event.
More information is available by contacting Snowbound Books at 906-869-4164 or MooseWood Nature Center at 906-228-6250.
