Marquette County Health Department to hold vaccine clinics

MARQUETTE -- The Marquette County Health Department will be holding a series of community clinics for flu and COVID vaccines. Both vaccines are available for everyone six months and older.

Clinics are as follows:

– 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, Negaunee Senior Center

– 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 12, Ishpeming Senior Center

– 4-6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 15, Republic-Michigamme school gym

– 3-5 p.m., Monday, Oct. 19, Powell Township Hall in Big Bay

The MCHD bills Medicare, Medicaid and must private insurances. Attendees should bring their insurance card(s). COVID and flu vaccines for the underinsured or uninsured will be available at a low cost.
