MARQUETTE -- On Friday, downtown Marquette marked construction at the future Trestle Hotel site with an official groundbreaking.
"The Trestle will bring a new hotel to the downtown waterfront, along with a restaurant within the hotel that will provide another dining destination for residents and visitors alike," said a post by the official downtown Marquette Facebook page. "We're excited to watch The Trestle take shape and look forward to welcoming this major new addition to downtown Marquette in 2027. Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this project to downtown Marquette."
