Marquette resorts set to hold Harvest Festival Sept. 25-26

MARQUETTE -- Rippling River Resort and Raging River Resort in Marquette is set to host the most spooky and fun event of the year.
The campground's Harvest Festival weekend is set for Sept. 25-26.
"Spend two unforgettable days surrounded by brilliant fall colors, family activities, riverside campfires and Michigan’s most beautiful outdoor adventures," reads the event website.
Events begin on Friday, Sept. 25, with music by the bonfire from 6-8 p.m., and fall drink specials, including complimentary apple cider.
On Saturday, there is a camper scavenger hunt at 11 a.m., followed by pumpkin painting from noon to 2 p.m.
Hayrides will be held from 2-6 p.m., with trick-or-treating to be held from 4-6 p.m.
From 6-8 p.m. Saturday, there will be campsite and cabin decorating, as well as a costume contest. Live music will be held from 6-9 p.m.
