Same-day voter registration is available in the state of Michigan. Those looking to register same-day should bring one of the following documents to the corresponding city or township clerk's office to prove residency: a Michigan driver's license or state ID, a current utility bill, a bank statement, a paycheck or government check or other government document. Documents must display the voter's name and current address.
