HarborFest returns Thursday, Friday and Saturday

MARQUETTE -- For over 40 years, HarborFest has been a celebration of the end of summer for Marquette visitors and residents.
Sponsored by the Marquette Harbor Rotary Club, the music festival includes great food, beverages and family activities. Admission is free of charge. The festival kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Thursday with the music of the Palestras. At 8 p.m., Marquette Rockestra will take the stage with a salute to the music of 1976.
Friday offers a variety of bands beginning at 4: p.m. with the Blackrocks House band. Barenaked 90s is back after a crowd-pleasing performance in 2025 with music of the 1990s. They warm up the crowd for Gimme Skynyrd, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band that will take the stage at 9 p.m.
Saturday continues the music at 2 p.m. with Adam Carpenter and the Upper Hand. Chad Borgen and the Collective perform at 4:15 p.m. Groove Candy is next at 6:30 with HarborFest’s last act Take it Easy, an Eagles Tribute Band.
Families will enjoy the Double Trouble Entertainment inflatable games, face painting by Fairy Mary and demonstrations by Anomaly Aerial. Food vendors include Rollin’ Smoke, Stony Hill Sips, Summertime Squeeze, Manny Mags, DeBackers Family Farm, Jimmy Krak Korn, Sandos, Doozers, Frydayz, the Island and 3 Fry Guyz.
HarborFest is one of two fund raising events held each year. Funds raised by the Fish Boil held in June and HarborFest are used to support Marquette Harbor Rotary Club programs, MSHS scholarships and grants made to local non-profit organizations. In 2026, Marquette Harbor Rotary awarded over $60,000 in scholarships and grants.
