IRONWOOD — An Ironwood girl missing from her home early Saturday morning has been found safe in Wisconsin.

According to the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department, Melody Rose Leanne Jiyres, 15, was last seen at her home in Ironwood at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday. At that time, officials believed she was traveling to Reedsburg, Wisconsin, although one official noted she was apparently without money, transportation or other resources.

Sheriff’s department officials put word out Monday morning that she had been found.
