MARQUETTE -- Early voting in the upcoming partisan primary has begun. Those who are looking to avoid long lines at the polls on Aug. 4 have the opportunity to vote early from July 25 through Aug. 2.
Early voting for Champion Township precinct 1, Ely Township precinct 1, Humboldt Township precinct 1, Michigamme Township precinct 1, Republic Township precinct 1 and Tilden Township precinct 1 is at the Tilden Township Hall from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Early voting for Chocolay Township precincts 1 and 2, Sands Township precinct 1, Skandia Township precinct 1 and West Branch Township precinct 1 is at the Chocolay Township Hall from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Early voting for Ewing Township precinct 1, Forsyth Township precincts 1-3, Richmond Township precinct 1, Turin Township precinct 1 and Wells Township precinct 1 is at the Gwinn Community Building from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Early voting for Ishpeming city precinct 1, Negaunee city precinct 1, Ishpeming Township precinct 1 and Negaunee Township precinct 1 is at the Negaunee Township Community Center from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Early voting for Marquette city precincts 1-4 is at Peter White Public Library from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Early voting for Marquette Township precinct 1 and Powell Township precinct 1 is at the Marquette Township Community Center from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
