Card show set for Aug. 1 at The Mather

ISHPEMING -- There will be a card show held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1 at The Mather, located at 107. E. Canda St. in Ishpeming.
Organizers say there will be a great selection of vendors selling collectible cards including Pokemon, sports cards, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! and more. The card show is open to the public and attendees will be able to buy, sell and trade cards at the show.
"We encourage all ages to join us for this fun event," said event organizer Nicole Johnson. "Our goal is to offer a place for people in the hobby to come together."
Johnson said it's a great experience getting to meet other people in the trading card community who enjoy sharing in the hobby.
"There seems to be a desire for more card shows in the Upper Peninsula, so we hope to continue to organize more shows in the future," she said.
There are still a few vendor tables available. The cost is $40 for the first table booked and $30 for any additional table.
