ISHPEMING — The 24th annual Buzz the Gut will be held on Saturday, Aug. 8. A car show will be held at the Ishpeming Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum from 4-7 p.m., with a parade at 7 p.m. followed by a dance at the Ishpeming Elks at 8 p.m. with music by the Swampberry Moonshine Band running until 11 p.m.

“We have a variety of cars, trucks and even motorcycles to view,” said Scott Perry, president of Buzz the Gut. “It’s a pretty good event with the car show and parade.”

There is no cost to attend the event, and food will be available for purchase. Car show shirts will be available while supplies last.

Participants who register at the event are eligible for prize giveaways and goody bags with dash plaques. No pre-registration is required.
