Pictured Rocks Days to be held this weekend
MUNISING — Pictured Rocks Days in Munising will be held from 3-8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Binsfield Bayshore Park in Munising. The event is free to attend, and will feature live music, food trucks, a beer tent, arts and crafts, interpretive and informational vendors and a Foam Zone.
The highlight of Pictured Rocks Days are the “Yoopers Ride Free,” Pictured Rocks Cruises, where anyone can obtain a free cruise by presenting a photo ID with an Upper Peninsula address. Tickets for free cruises will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis on today and Saturday. Cruises today will be available for departures at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Saturday cruises will be for 10 a.m., 1-4 p.m. Tickets must be obtained in person at the Pictures Rocks Cruises’ ticket office.
Even if you are too late to get a ticket, though, there is plenty to do, including shopping, getting a bite to eat and listening to free, live music. The musician lineup for Pictured Rocks Days is as follows:
Today 3-5 p.m. – Troy Graham
Today 6-8 p.m. – Angels and Outlaws
Saturday 10 a.m.-noon – Troy Graham
Saturday 1-3 p.m. – DayDreamers
Saturday 4-6 p.m. – Flat Broke Blues
Pictured Rocks Days is hosted by the Alger County Chamber of Commerce.
