MARQUETTE — A staple of Marquette’s craft brewing scene is in the process of developing a restaurant component, in collaboration with an established local restaurant group.

The Ore Dock Brewing Company is expanding into the culinary world through a partnership with Focus Restaurant Concepts, a hospitality company operating some of the Marquette area’s most familiar brands like Border Grill and Mama Russo’s. This effort combines Ore Dock’s craft beverages with proven local culinary expertise, bringing a brand-new dining experience to the existing taproom just in time for the peak summer season.

“We have always envisioned our taproom and adjacent spaces as a complete gathering place, and adding a food program is the natural next step,” said Andi Pernsteiner of the Ore Dock Brewing Company. “Partnering with Focus Restaurant Concepts allows us to focus on what we do best – brewing and crafting everything beverage while bringing in a team that excels at delivering unforgettable dining experiences. We cannot wait to share what we are building together.”

While the name and menu concepts are currently under wraps, guests can expect an elevated food program designed to complement Ore Dock’s draft list. The menu will focus on high-quality ingredients, scratch-made execution and a welcoming atmosphere that mirrors the community-first identity of both brands, an Ore Dock news release states.

To bring this vision to life ahead of the summer rush, the partnership is immediately

launching a talent search for key hospitality and kitchen positions. This is a unique

opportunity for passionate professionals to join an established, well-supported culinary
