Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival set for July 17-19

MARQUETTE — The 46th annual Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival is set for July 17-19 at Marquette’s Tourist Park.
The event website states “The Hiawatha Festival is the only event of its size and scope in (the) Upper Peninsula. Without Hiawatha, local performers and fans would have to travel between four and six hours to the nearest comparable festivals.”
The main stage will feature acts such as Big Richard, Cristina Vane, Hussy Hicks, Ladama, Jerron Paxton, Yid Vicious, Troy Graham, Sons of the Never Wrong, and the Ukrainian Village Band.
Other acts include the Hiawatha House Band, Chicken Wire Empire, Sugar on the Roof, Rootstand, and Under the Radar.
