MARQUETTE — Queen City Running is hosting the Dead Carp 10 Mile Run, 5K Run/Walk on Saturday and the Little Carp 1 Mile Run on Friday.

The 1-Mile course on Friday heads south on the multi-use path from the South Beach parking lot to a halfway point and turns around to end back at South Beach. The race will start at 6 p..m and complete by 6:30 p.m.

The 10-Mile course on Saturday starts at the Ojibway Casino and heads west and then north on the Iron Ore Heritage Trail to the city multi-use path and ends at the Mattson Lower Harbor Park. The race will start at 9 a.m. and will be done by approximately 11:15 a.m.

The 5K course on Saturday starts at the Mattson Lower Harbor Park and heads west and then south on the city multi-use path, turns at a halfway point near South Beach parking lot and returns on the same path to end at the Mattson Lower Harbor Park. The race will start at 10:15 a.m. and will be done by approximately 11:15 a.m.

No city streets will be closed for this event and the public is asked to use caution while driving in these areas.
