Crowley files nominating petitions, launches district judge campaign

Patrick J. Crowley

MARQUETTE – Last week, Patrick J. Crowley officially filed nominating petitions to qualify for the August Primary ballot as a candidate for 96th district court judge. The following day, Crowley and his campaign hosted an official campaign kickoff event.

Surrounded by dozens of supporters, Patrick said, “It’s not often that Marquette County has an opportunity to vote for their next judge. I will work tirelessly to address our case backlog, seek resolutions in difficult matters, protect victims and the rights of parties, and look forward to taking my role as a public servant to the next level.”

“As our county’s first chief public defender,” stated Crowley, “I have tried hundreds of cases before the 96th District Court and throughout my career in hundreds if not thousands of cases in courts around the state. I have the skills and experience to serve our community as judge, and to ensure that our courts work for all Marquette residents.”

A Michigan native, Crowley is an alumni of Northern Michigan University and current chief public defender of Marquette County. His career has garnered him legal experience around the state, including beginning his career as a Prosecutor, and running a successful law firm, practicing criminal, family, civil and landlord/tenant law. He is a proud husband and father of two adult children, football coach, and avid outdoorsman. Learn more at www.crowleyforjudge.com.
