SKANDIA — Although little information was available at press time, it appears personnel with the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office were involved in a law enforcement action Sunday morning in or around Skandia in Marquette County.

Carlshend Road was reportedly closed by sheriff’s deputies for a period of time Sunday morning, reopening late in the morning after a male was arrested and placed in custody.

Sheriff’s office personnel were assisted at the scene by members of the MSP Emergency Support Team, as well as other police agencies. It doesn’t appear there were injuries involved in the incident.
