MARQUETTE — It’s time to dance for the dogs.

The Marquette Lions Club is holding a community dance fundraiser event titled “Dance for the Dogs” at the Elks Club in Marquette from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15.

“Cast off your snow boots, pull on your rag socks and boogie the winter blues away,” reads the event page.

The dance is a fundraiser for Leader Dogs for the Blind. Live music will be provided courtesy of the Marquette Arts, Music and Wellness Lions Club. Bucket raffle to be sponsored by the Marquette Lions Club.

Tickets are $5 for individuals or $10 per family. All funds raised will be donated to Leader Dogs for the Blind.

The Elks Lodge is located at 127 N. Front St. in Marquette.
