ISHPEMING — Aspen Ridge Elementary and Middle School held a public ceremony on Jan. 21 to celebrate the unveiling of its new gymnasium floor.
“Thank you to our community for supporting our sinking fund and making our buildings and campus so beautiful,” reads a statement issued by the NICE Community School District.
The new flooring comes from Robbins Sports Surfaces.
“We want the local community to know what we do here, and the pride they can take in it,” said Jason Stebbins, who has managed the sawmill since 2015. “Robbins is building NBA courts and NCAA championship arenas. That work starts with our team here in Kenton.”
Aspen Ridge’s new NBA-worthy gymnasium is sure to be enjoyed by many students to come.
“Thank you to IDI, Cross, Robbins and all our partners for designing and building such great spaces for us,” reads the statement by NICE Community School District. “Go Patriots!”
