Michael Alan Sivula

MARQUETTE — Michael Alan Sivula, a contractor in Gwinn, is facing 10 felony charges of fraud for promising contract work but not finishing it. He is set for a jury trial on Jan. 26 in Marquette County Circuit Court for the seven cases that warrant the 10 charges.

Sivula faces seven counts of false pretenses $1,000 or more but less than $20,000, one count of fraudulent use of a building contract, and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

Sivula is expected to appear for a final pretrial conference on Jan. 8 and a trial management conference on Jan. 23.
