Cool temperatures and the threat of rain didn't deter trick or treaters from making the rounds in the Copper Country Friday. This trio ran the gamut from sweet to spooky as they went door-to-door in Laurium. (Houghton Daily Mining Gazette photo)
The Negaunee Elks holds a “Pumpkin Patch” Halloween party at its lodge in conjunction with the Negaunee Schools Early Childhood Special Education. Teachers provided songs and snacks for the group. The Elks provided the haunted houses and safe indoor trick-or-treating for the children. The Elks provided each child with a book. A total of 45 children were in attendance plus parents, grandparents and teachers. (Courtesy photo)
