Small Town Saturday to follow Black Friday in Forsyth Township

GWINN — Forsyth Forward has kicked off its first annual Small Town Saturday, a new community shopping event designed to support the local businesses that make Gwinn special. On Saturday, several Gwinn businesses will offer exclusive, one-day discounts on food, gift cards, services, lodging experiences and more.

Small Town Saturday is a way of encouraging residents and visitors to shop local this holiday season. Every purchase made here directly supports the small business owners who work hard year-round to keep our community vibrant.

One-day highlights include:

• $50 gift card for $40, a 20% savings at the Up North Lodge
.

• Summer pontoon boat rental special — offered by a local cabin rental operator; a perfect opportunity to plan your warm-weather adventures early.

• Discounts at multiple Gwinn eateries — enjoy Saturday-only savings on meals, snacks, and treats from several local restaurants.

• Sauna package, services and more — additional specials can be found throughout town.

“Small Town Saturday is all about celebrating the businesses that make Gwinn feel like home,” said Alan Cook, executive director of Forsyth Forward. “When we shop local, we’re not just buying gifts or meals, we’re supporting our neighbors, strengthening our economy, and investing in the future of our community. This event is our first step, and we look forward to growing it into something even bigger in the years ahead.”

Starting at $3.23/week.
