MARQUETTE– The Michigan State Police Hazardous Material Training Unit visited Marquette and performed training recently.
“This two-day workshop . …offer(ed) 15 local first responder’s hands on training specific to safely responding to hazardous material incidents, minimizing health and environmental hazards from spills or releases, as well as safely mitigating and cleaning up the incident site,” said Public Information Officer Clayton Cummins.
