Transit authority seeking community input on service communication
MARQUETTE — The Marquette County Transit Authority is seeking input from community members about their services.
An online survey is available to provide feedback on how often you use Marq-Tran, where you utilize its transportation services to go, why you choose to use it and what barriers you may have to using it, and familiarity with its services.
The survey is part of a strategic communication project between Marq-Tran and Siren, a strategic communication firm in Marquette. It is designed to identify how Marq-Tran can best communicate with those it serves and grow awareness for its services. According to Kate Pouliot, an account executive with Siren, the survey is one component of a larger intake process to gauge the understanding of and sentiment toward Marq-Tran.
“By assessing the current reality of what Marquette County residents know about Marq-Tran and their affiliation with the organization, we can identify what information people need to hear about Marq-Tran, who needs to hear it, and how we can best reach those audiences,” said Pouliot. “This survey, along with an in depth look into Marq-Tran’s services, ridership, and capabilities, will help create an informed strategy of how to effectively communicate with Marquette County residents.”
The survey can be accessed online at tinyurl.com/mvxamfwb. It is open to both riders and non-riders of Marq-Tran, and takes approximately five minutes. Email addresses are not collected when you submit your answers.
