MARQUETTE — The city of Marquette has announced that the Cliffs Dow remediation project is out for bids now. All bids are due by 9 a.m. on Aug. 20.

It is anticipated the contractor will be selected by the Marquette City Commission on Sept. 8. The contractor shall commence work on the project within 10 days of receipt of the notice to proceed, and the work shall be completed no later than Dec. 31, 2026.
