MARQUETTE – Missing Marquette woman Eileen Mandel was found deceased at around 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday night. The pickup truck she was driving was located on a two-track road in Negaunee Township at around 8:50 p.m. with her body found in the woods nearby.

The Marquette Police Department does not suspect foul play was involved, but the incident is still under investigation.

Assisting with the investigation were the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, Michigan Department of Natural Resources and UPHS-Marquette EMS.
