MARQUETTE — The Marquette County Fair is scheduled for Aug. 7-9 at the Marquette County Fairgrounds, 715 M-553 in Gwinn.

Gates for the event will open at 10 a.m. each day, and the event will feature exhibits and competitions, petting zoos and kids activities, LIVE entertainment, specialty foods, rides and more.

Gate admission is $7 for adults and kids 12 and above, $4 for children between 5-11 years old, and kids 4 and under get in free. Thursday’s fair day is military appreciation and senior day, where veterans and seniors 60+ get in for only $4.

Wristbands for the duration of the fair will be $18 for adults and $9 for children.

The grounds entertainment will feature a kids game show, firefighter races, go kart races, the Double Trouble Fun Zone, an antique and classic car show, bingo, a petting zoo, a magic show, a cooking competition, a 5K fun run and more.
