35th annual Republic Fishing Derby to be held this weekend

Pre-registration will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Munson Park. Fishing will be held Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will also be a parade at 7 p.m. Friday, with music running through 11 p.m.
On Saturday, Diversion will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight, and there will also be a fireworks display that night.
The entrance fee for the dishing derby is $30 for adults and $10 for kids.

State license fees and boating requirements are being upheld for this event. Cash prizes will be awarded.
There will be a duck race Sunday after the derby, which is sponsored by the Republic Fire Department.
