MARQUETTE — Lake Superior Region Indivisible will be hosting a protest from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 at the corner of U.S. 41 and Wilson Street in Marquette to protest the Trump administration, coinciding with a national day of action.

June 14 is also President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday celebration, as well as Flag Day.

“The flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump,” says the Lake Superior Region Indivisible event page. “It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.”

A sign-making and social gathering event will take place the week before the protest from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 7. For more information about the June 14 protest, contact Lake Superior Region Indivisible at lsrindivisible@gmail.com.
