MARQUETTE — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will be delivering the keynote address at 3:10 p.m. today during the 2025 Mackinac Policy Conference.
“Every year, leaders in business, government and philanthropy convene on Mackinac Island to discuss how we can all work together to solve the key issues facing Michigan’s future, including our economy, education and workforce,” Whitmer said in a news release. “In other words, how do we ‘do hard things’ to fix Michigan’s problems?
“My keynote will focus on our ability to ‘do hard things,’ highlighting the major wins we’ve achieved recently and the necessity of continuing to work together as Team Michigan to move our state forward. We must work together to grow our economy with future-driven industries, invest in our roads, improve education and protect freedoms.”
The event will be available for livestreaming on YouTube, the Mackinac Policy conference website and on Detroit PBS Online.
