Marquette Sawyer airport announces additional flight

MARQUETTE — The Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport announced Tuesday that they will be adding a second daily American Airlines arrival and departure.

Currently, the airport offers just one American Airlines flight in and out of the airport each day. According the airport website, an additional 4:30 p.m. flight to Chicago is now able to be booked.

“We are very excited for the opportunity to announce this additional flight to better serve our passengers,” said Duane DuRay, Director at Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport, in a news release. “The expanded schedule provides more flexibility for both business and leisure travelers, making it even easier to connect to major hubs and destinations across the country.”

Marquette Sawyer’s American Airlines service connects to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, one of the major airport hubs for travel in the United States.
