MARQUETTE — The city of Marquette will be closing several offices in celebration of Memorial Day.

The following offices will be closed on Monday in observance of the holiday:

• Marquette City Hall, located at 300 West Baraga Avenue

• Lakeview Arena, located at 401 East Fair Avenue

• The Arts and Culture Center, located at 217 North Front Street, inside of the Peter White Public Library

• The Municipal Service Center, located at 1100 Wright Street

Marquette Police, Fire, and Public Works and Utilities will remain operational during Memorial Day. There will be no change in garbage pickup for city residents.

City offices, including Marquette City Hall, Lakeview Arena, and the Municipal Service Center, will also be moving to their summer hours beginning June 2. They will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays, and closed on the weekends. Summer hours will continue through Labor Day on Sept. 1.
