Downed electrical line causes outage in Marquette
MARQUETTE — It took Marquette Board of Light and Power crews several hours Monday afternoon to restore electrical service to all of south Marquette and areas in and around West Washington Street.
Some 1,700 BLP customers were affected by the outage, agency officials said.
Several traffic lights stopped working, necessitating Marquette Police Department traffic management while power was out.
BLP crews located a utility line in the area of Ridge and Bluff streets that was down.
No additional information was available.
