Michigan author to visit Carnegie Library
MARQUETTE — Michigan author Bonnie Jo Campbell will visit the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 19.
Campbell is the author of “The Waters,” which was a 2024 “Read with Jenna” book club selection on NBC’s “Today” show.
Campbell’s works include short story collections such as “American Salvage,” a finalist for the National Book Award.
Copies of Campbell’s books will be available for purchase from Snowbound Books at the event with the opportunity to get it signed by the author.
Her visit to the ICPL is funded in part by Michigan Humanities, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Michigan Arts and Culture Council.
Prior to Campbell’s visit, the ICPL is hosting a book discussion featuring “The Waters” at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, and at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17.
