MARQUETTE — The Fire Station and Ore Dock Brewing Company will host Buds, Brews and Beats, a collaboration to raise funds for the Great Lakes Expungement Network.

The event will take place at the Ore Dock from 6-9 p.m. Friday. Tickets will be $5 each with proceeds going directly to GLEN.

“We’re thrilled to be able to support such a meaningful cause around our industry’s biggest holiday,” TFS co-owner and co-CEO Logan Stauber said about the 4-20 date, significant in the cannabis world.

“The Ore Dock has been a fantastic partner, so collaborating with them was no question. There are many individuals who still have cannabis on their records, and we hope to help GLEN in their mission to resolve that for as many people as possible.”

The event will feature three local bands, including Ghoul for a Goblin, Realms and No Expectations. The fundraiser will also see the return of the Ore Dock’s Super Dank IPA which was last produced for The Fire Station’s Camp Cannabis event in 2022.

“We’re excited to partner with The Fire Station to support this cause,” said Ore Dock curated events manager Amanda Courchaine. “We’ve worked with them for a few other events and we are thrilled to continue this relationship.”
