MARQUETTE — A fire broke out on Friday afternoon at 41 Lumber Marquette, located at 3545 U.S. 41 West.

The cause of the fire has not been disclosed and it is not known if any injuries were sustained.

The Marquette Township Fire Department was on the scene and appeared to be finishing operations at the site. The store did not appear to have incurred any noticeable damage.

The owner of 41 Lumber declined to share any information on the incident when contacted by the Journal.

A spokesman for the Marquette Township Fire Department was not available to comment.
