MARQUETTE — The public is invited to attend the Eagle Mine community forums this week.

Three forums will be hold around Marquette County to create a dialogue between the Eagle Mine and the community where updates about the status of the mine and its operations will be given to the public.

The first event is scheduled from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Powell Township Hall in Big Bay.

The second of the three events is slated for 12-1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the Michigamme Township Hall.

The final event will also be held Wednesday. It starts at 5:30 p.m. and will wrap up at 7 p.m. at the Humboldt Township Hall in Champion.
