GWINN — Brandon Bruce, superintendent of Gwinn Area Community Schools, will resign effective June 30.

The GACS Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Gwinn Middle/High School Library to accept the resignation and discuss the search for his replacement.

Bruce became GACS superintendent in 2021.

The school district is discussing creating a central K-12 campus, but no formal decision has been made yet.
