Powerline down in Marquette, Harvey after crash, around 2,600 without power

HARVEY -- A vehicle accident and downed powerlines resulted in around 2,600 customers to lose power Tuesday morning and U.S. 41 South to temporarily close.
According to the Marquette Board of Light and Power's Facebook page, the outage affected most of Chocolay Township and Skandia Township.
Out at the scene, crew from BLP worked on repairing the broken pole caused by the vehicle accident and officers from the Michigan State Police assisted with directing traffic at the intersection of U.S. 41 South in Harvey.
