School threat reported in Esky
ESCANABA — A threat was reported at Escanaba High School on Friday morning.
According to a news release from the Escanaba Department of Public Safety, a “school threat” was reported at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Escanaba High School, 200 S. Lincoln Road, Escanaba.
The release does not specify the type of threat that was made.
A suspect was immediately identified, according to the release and contact was made.
A search of the suspect’s residence was made and no weapons were found.
The suspect was interviewed, the release states, and the matter will be referred to the Delta County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
