County board OKs updated Perkins Park rates

MARQUETTE — The majority of Tuesday’s Marquette County Board of Commissioners meeting consisted of public comment related to the Great Start Parent Coalition, but board members did take action on a few items.

Updated rates for the Perkins Park campground were approved unanimously.

“It’s important for these to get put into place,” said County Administrator Scott Erbisch. “There is no impact to rates and fee schedule other than what’s noted here, some new things, but the actual camper site fees stay the same this year and just cleaning some things up. The intent and why they bring these now is that they are going to be putting out their new reservation ability coming up next month and so having these in place is important.”
