Forsyth Township man arrested on multiple CSC charges

OLNEY

GWINN — The Forsyth Township Police Department announced the arrest of a Forsyth Township man on multiple criminal sexual conduct charges involving several underaged girls.

Brad Olney, 44, was arrested on Monday and is being charged by the Marquette County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office with three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct. Police say that the crimes are alleged to have taken place over several years. Victims have been identified in multiple Marquette County jurisdictions.

The arrest comes after a multi-agency investigation. The Forsyth Police Department was aided in the investigation by the Chocolay Township Police Department and the Michigan State Police. Other groups that aided the investigation include Child Protective Services, Marquette and Delta County Child Advocacy centers and the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office.
