MARQUETTE — The new year brings new ownership for Togo’s in Marquette. This month, Kathy Garrow and her children Tim Garrow, Doug Garrow and Korie Moyer took over the business.
“We want to keep the business going as successful as it’s been. We’re going to keep it the way everyone knows and likes,” General Manager Tim Garrow said.
That means bread will still be baked fresh in-house daily, and customers will still receive friendly, efficient service from Togo’s employees while enjoying the same delicious food that has been offered for decades.
While Togo’s has been in the Garrow family since 1967, Kathy had only been part owner in the business until this year.
Now, the shop is completely owned and run by the Garrow family; with Tim as the general manager, Korie the manager and Doug the consultant.
“We’d like to be open seven days a week, which we’re hoping to have happen in March or April,” Tim Garrow said.
“We’d like to maybe expand. We’re not sure where, when, or how right now, though.”
Currently, Togo’s in Marquette is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. every day except Tuesdays.
The shop is located at 1000 N. Third St.
