Local wood turner Marc Himes demonstrates a coloring technique called “Cosmic Cloud” at Zero Degrees Gallery, 525 N. Third St., Marquette, on July 1 as part of the First Thursdays Art Walk series. The event will run from 4 to 8 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month through Oct. 7. First Thursdays are a monthly art stroll in which art galleries, studios and creative spaces in Marquette put on a series using their space to create an “Art Crawl.” The city of Marquette Arts and Culture Center has information about the spaces involved in the events.
