Moore arrested on felony warrant stemming from July domestic violence incident

GWINN – A man who was wanted by the Hancock Police Department for charges stemming from a July domestic violence incident was arrested on Friday by the Forsyth Township Police Department.

Donald “Bud” Moore, 33, had been wanted by the Hancock Police Department in regards to an incident where Moore “allegedly pulled a handgun from his waistband and put it to the female victim’s forehead, striking her in the forehead with the barrel,” Forsyth Township Police Department officials said in a news release.

Moore was arrested for the charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence, third offense, according to police.

He was arrested without incident and lodged at the Marquette County Jail after police received a tip that he was possibly at a residence in K.I. Sawyer, police said.
