Ferguson to face off against Bergman for U.S. House 1st District seat
MARQUETTE — Democrat Dana Ferguson will square off against Republican incumbent Jack Bergman for the 1st Congressional District for the U.S. House of Representatives on Nov. 3.
Ferguson won the Democratic primary in Marquette County with 8,263 votes, his sole opponent Linda O’Dell had 2,979 votes.
Ferguson won the vote overall according to preliminary results on the Associated Press website.
The winner of the Nov. 3 election will serve a two-year term in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing residents of the Upper Peninsula and the northern Lower Peninsula.
