ISHPEMING -- An Ishpeming man was arraigned in Marquette County 96th District Court Tuesday on multiple charges, including first-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to the city of Ishpeming Police Department.
Jamie Lee Vance, 37, was arrested on Monday. He is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, aggravated domestic assault and great bodily harm less than murder -- assault by strangulation.
The charges stem from a May 21 incident at the Canda Manor apartments in Ishpeming, police said.
Vance was also lodged on a charge of possession of methamphetamine from an unrelated incident.
He remains lodged at the Marquette County Jail as of this morning, officials said.
